Firearms Safety Courses 2025 Course in Firearms & Weapons Safety 11029NAT, are conducted on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10am – 5pm at the TMRC clubhouse for Category AB, C, D, H & M (crossbow) available. The course takes 6hours depending on the number of participants and Categories that the students are going for. The course cost starts at $160 for A & B or H class course, combined A,B & H $230.00 there is no EFTPOS facility at the range so please prepay Aaron Lemphers or Bob Hawkins online or cash on the day. You will need to bring some form of photo ID with you as well as a pen to write with. When contacting Aaron or Bob from Arming the Nation Firearms Training RTO 46026, you will receive an email form them with the course details. You will need to wear enclosed footwear to the course as it is a requirement for shooting on the range for the live firing part of the assessments. The Hervey’s Range Shooting Complex is located on Hervey’s Range Road (at the foot at the range itself) approximately 22klms from the Kalynda Chase/Hervey’s Range Road intersection and is on the left-hand side of the road. The Hervey’s Range Shooting Complex is just over 1km past the entrance of the new SSAA complex on your left-hand side, so please ensure you go to the correct entrance. There will be a red flag flying at the gate, which is a little bit off the road, but you will be able to see the long-range shooting complex from the road.
